Catherine Muguro
Catherine has been working at the Mahali site in Karen End for 15 years and is a qualified social worker.
Catherine has experience of getting people through education and into work and also has an excellent local network.
The project started in 2025 and Catherine has led all the way through inception and into the current growth stage
Sewing Lead
Jannepher
Janepher is a highly skilled seamstress who shares her skills and experience with our learners in small groups of 12 to 15 at a time.
The task of teaching and encouraging development is what Jannepher loves to do and it has been her role for 5 years at this site having found her feet in the same location when it was a school.
Beauty
Shirley Mayego
Our second skills development area is Hairdressing and Beauty and this is led by
Business for life
All participants n our skills courses also complete a course in entrepreneurship through our partner Business for Life.
